As expected, we get some hard-hitting and intricate boom-bap production, with Benny tearing it up from track to track. The Plugs I Met is the newest project from Benny, and it doesn’t disappoint in the slightest. Benny the Butcher, one of the groups most prominent members, has been making waves for quite some time now and for good reason, most notably riding the momentum from last year’s Tena Talk 3. Griselda is one of the most fascinating movements in rap currently, and if there’s any group that gives me faith in “real rap” as some call it, it’s them.
